  • Andre presented new fundraising proposals to the Board.  Golf Tournament in May has been cancelled.

  • Football Helmets to be sent off for reconditioning next week at a cost of $10 per helmet.

  • Club to purchase additional helmets this year for projected growth of club (additional new players).

  • Possible 3 or 4 teams to travel to Turkey Bowl in TENN the upcoming season.  Dayna to facilitate team fundraisers in an organized manner with coaches.

  • Lacrosse:  Shawn is conducting a survey to determine if Bayhawks party will have enough attendance this year (first home game isn’t until 6 weeks after our season is over).  Party details TBD pending survey results.

  • Cheer coaches expressed concerns on cheer schedule for 2019.  Explained parents and players weren’t pleased with schedule last season.  Weighed different scheduling options to make everyone happy and have amble coverage game coverage—TBD.  2019 cheer calendar to be presented to Andre and BOD for approval before sending out to coaches/cheer squads this season.

  • Cheer coaches discussed local cheer competitions options and a desire to try new things this season.

  • Cheer coaches explained to BOD their difficulty obtaining practices facilities for competition, particularly after the CAS competition.

  • BOD voted in favor to donate HYC’s old cheer uniforms.  Need to find an organization or charity in need.

  • HYC awaiting approval on YSP Agreement from CCPR.  Agreement was submitted in full January 16, 2019.  CCPR sent it back on March 15th requiring 3 additional documents.  HYC submitted all additional documentation requested on March 18, 2019.  Our YSP Agreement was resubmitted on the 18th and we are still waiting on CCPR approval.

  • Once YSP Agreement is approved, HYC can move forward building our new equipment shed (equipment is currently in storage and an additional monthly cost to the club).  HYC also plans to move forward with CCPR on our request for a Press Box for our football field at HPP.
